About the artist
Carol Baines%u2019 painterly prints take inspiration from the natural landscape. Conveying a sense of wilderness and movement through simple, gestural mark-making and delicate textures, her prints are both subtle and atmospheric. Combining many processes, including drypoint, etching, monoprint and screenprint, the resulting semi-abstract works exude a natural energy.
