About the artist

Anders Verschuren questions the relationship between nature and humans. We know about climate change, we know that we live in the 6th mass extinction but we don%u2019t feel it. Through depicting the beauty of nature he hopes to make this loss tangible. Verschuren sees grief as a way of care.

Anders Verschuren is a Dutch artist who lives in Rotterdam. Verschuren is currently studying at St joost Breda. With a background in biology he researches the relationship between the human and non-human. Through detailed painting, etchings, linocuts and gyotaku he shows the intrinsic value of nature.
