About the artist
Originally from Cornwall, I am based in Torquay, South Devon, where I have a publicly-accessible studio in the centre of the town. I am interested in the %u2018magical%u2019 aspects of landscape - places overlooked, mysterious, enigmatic and energetic. Dartmoor is the location that appears most in, or inspires, my work. I make and produce limited edition relief lino prints, mezzotints and detailed charcoal/pastel drawings.

About the artwork
This work is a contiguous polyptych image. I like making 'panelled' images like this, especially where the subject is a wider, landscape, format - dividing the image in this way feels, to me, an interesting way to better capture the experience of 'seeing' a 'wide angle' scene.
