About the artist
Grace Beswick is a Plymouth-based printmaker, originally from Staffordshire. She graduated from Arts University Plymouth in 2024 with a BA (Hons) in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking.Her practice centres in contemporary printmaking. Grace works primarily with linocut and screenprint to explore process, colour, shape, layering and composition. She often uses digital software to respond to her photography, to inform ideas and prepare designs for traditionally produced printed outcomes. Her work moves between levels of abstraction and figuration to challenge alternative ways of representing a subject.Previous group exhibitions include Delamore Arts x Artizan Collective Contemporary British Printmakers 2026, the Peirson & Peirson Contemporary Art Prize 2026, the Thelma Hulbert Gallery Open 2025 (Honiton), the Ironbridge Printmaking Competition 2025 (Shropshire), and the Vanner Gallery (Salisbury) in association with The Graduate Art Show 2025.
