About the artwork
Do you sometimes feel bound by circumstances? Bound Wings expresses exactly this feeling. But this graphic is not only negative, because obstacles force us to grow. And these wings, though tied, soar above the darkness. it is a metaphor for the inner tension between limitation and freedom. %u201CBound Wings%u201D in this context does not mean just helplessness %u2014 rather, a state where potential exists but is not fully utilized. And that is what is interesting about it. What's also interesting is that "bonding" doesn't necessarily have to be just something external. Sometimes it's our own fears, expectations, or the past that hold those wings. And then the meaning of the whole graphic shifts even further inward %u2014 to the question of what exactly is holding us back and whether that bond can be gradually loosened.
