About the artwork
%u201CEvery end is a new beginning%u201D refers to a moment of transition %u2014 an ending that simultaneously initiates a new phase. The work presents a face emerging from a dispersed, unstable graphic structure. The image is built through strong contrasts of light and dark, as well as layered marks that emphasize both construction and disintegration of form. The fragmentary nature of the image suggests change, discontinuity, and the absence of a fixed identity. The face is not fully defined %u2014 it appears and disappears, which can be read as a visual record of transformation. There is a clear tension between control and chance, visible in the gestures and texture. The work does not depict a specific individual but rather refers to a universal experience of endings and beginnings. It focuses on process %u2014 a moment in which something comes to an end while simultaneously creating the conditions for something new to emerge.
