About the artwork
Meet the beautiful Alice of Budapest. I usually never repeat pieces, but this is the third time that I%u2019ve painted Alice and I promised it%u2019s the last! I really wanted to capture her on the larger gel plate. %u201CMotivation is a Wonderland%u201D, located at Kertész utca 27, District VII (Erzsébetváros), Budapest. It was created by Dan Ferrer, a Spanish street artist and illustrator. The mural sits on a firewall %u2014 the exposed side of a building left bare when a neighbouring structure was demolished, a common feature of Budapest%u2019s urban fabric. As visible in your photograph, the wall%u2019s crumbling plaster and peeling paint have become part of the artwork%u2019s texture over the years, lending it a weathered, almost archaeological quality that deepens its emotional resonance. The parking lot setting at Kertész utca 27 remains one of the most visited street art destinations in the city
