Elspeth Scott

Biography

Elspeth grew up in Hertfordshire but moved to Scotland at the age of 18 to study MA Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh. She specialized in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking, graduating in 2004 with First Class Honours. | | She never left Scotland and is now based in East Lothian. She is a mum of three and a teacher Art and History of Art as well as a practising artist and qualified gardener. Taking inspiration from a variety of subject matter, her work is characterised by close observation and a love of the texture and expressive possibilities of print, mixed media and paint.
