Caoimhe Morgan

Artist statement

Roots began with cuttings left to grow in a jar of water, drawn as they tangled and reached. I ink a glass plate, lay paper over it, and draw on the back, the pressure transfers the image below. Each print comes out a little different.

Biography

Caoimhe Morgan is a Dublin-based Irish artist working across photography and printmaking. She trained at NCAD, and is drawn to what is often overlooked in the everyday. Her linocut of the historic church on Dalkey Island was selected for the Ironbridge Fine Arts Printmaking Exhibition and Catalogue, 2026, and her photograph The Influencer was selected for the Nature Exhibition at Glasgow Gallery of Photography, July 2026.
